| SWIFTutoring is also available for use by parents as an 'in home' (DIY) system via posted packs from HomeLearn. | ||
| After initial assessment of student levels and discussion if needed, we will set up the student on either a 'Wildcats' level (reading and or significant spelling issues) or a 'HS' level (writing conventions issues). | ||
| Each 'Wildcats Pack' includes a world-exclusive 'Wildcats' core reader, related activities designed to spread over 4 weeks, plus additional downloadable readers for reading practice. These are suitable for students with literacy needs at primary age - years 2-6 mainly- but this can include high school aged students with significant literacy issues. | ||
| Each 'HS' pack includes downloadable core readers, related literacy activities stepping from these, additional readers for extra reading practice, and an online 'writing quiz' that is manually checked and commented on by education staff to help improve these writing skills. Students need to be in High School with reading at least around year 5-6 level to be able to use these. | ||
| Payment options are a monthly payment of $40 per month, or a 'half year' of 4 packs at $140. There is also an initial $50 deposit required when you first start, as a holding deposit for the Wildcats readers and refundable on completion and return of these. | ||
| If you are placed on a 'HS' level there is no need for the holding deposit to cover the Wildcats readers, so your initial deposit will be refunded. | ||
